The Department of Facilities Management is seeking a dynamic and qualified Compliance Safety Officer. The Compliance Safety Officer is responsible for training all new and current employees on most up to date safety policies and procedures. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled site visits to ensure all crews are operating in a manner that is consistent with the current safety guidelines and to identify safety issues that require further training. Investigating accidents and near misses to determine how and why an accident happened and how it could be prevented.
