Description Department: Student Life: Job Status: Full-time: FLSA Status: Exempt: Reports To: Director of Residence Life Grade/Level: Amount of Travel Required: Minimal travel required Work Schedule: Flexible work schedule with on-call responsibilities Positions Supervised: Resident Assistants: POSITION SUMMARY: The Residence Hall Director (RD) provides leadership of a male residence hall on campus ranging from 140 to 200 male resident students in a manner that complements the mission of Benedictine College and as a team member of the Student Life Office. The RD has primary responsibility for the daily operation and atmosphere of the residence hall. This is achieved by maintaining a living environment in which the maximum education, social, personal, and faith development of the residents can be realized. Requirements: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Participate in staff orientation, in-service training, and staff meetings. Be thoroughly familiar with the Residence Life Handbook, Student Handbook and other publications as directed by the Director of Residence Life. - Supervise the student staff.
