Overview: The Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resource-related initiatives for the entire hotel. This position provides consultation to the management team on staffing, compensation, training, benefits, and employee relations. Key Duties & Responsibilities: - The Director of Human Resources directs and ensures the efficient administration and management of all human resources functions, including recruiting, training, wage/benefit administration, compliance with statuary requirements, and the execution of the associate's related activities. - This individual provides each department with the personnel, guidance, and support necessary to achieve their guest service and business objectives. - Develop, direct and oversee overall hotel recruitment and hiring strategies for all exempt and non-exempt positions. - Support and uphold hotel philosophy concerning hiring, employee relations, supervision, and disciplinary action. - Ensures that crucial education and training courses are delivered at the hotel in accordance with standards. - Conducts employee orientation and management training as necessary. - Coaches managers on effec...
