Job description

This site works a 4/10 Alternative Work Schedule Position Summary: Functions as a part of the surgical service. Provides care to patients under the direction of an RN and/or Physician in the Intra Operative phase utilizing experience, knowledge of equipment and instrumentation to ensure the best possible outcomes. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist/CRNA continuously and as needed about patient condition. Participates in performance improvement activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Wears appropriate attire in restricted area. Adheres to recommended traffic patterns. Demonstrates knowledge in the safe care and handling of instrumentation. Demonstrates knowledge of sterile processing standards and practices. Assists with inventory management. Assists with OR turnover, and preparation of sterile supplies (e.g. opening, case pulling). The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $32/hour -$35/ hour per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.
