Position Overview: McDermott Aviation is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician to join our aviation team in Andalusia, Alabama. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining and repairing GSE, managing inventory, and building shipping crates to ensure the safe transport of aircraft components and tools. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect, maintain, and repair Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as fixtures, dollies, and component stands. - Track and document GSE and tooling using an online inventory system. - Build durable, well-fitted shipping crates for aircraft parts, tools, and equipment. - Perform basic hydraulic repairs and minor fabrication as needed. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following aviation safety standards. - Support process improveme...
