Job Overview Provide technical excellence in developing, sustaining, and supporting firmware associated with high‑volume electronic products within the AMI and utility communications industry. Contribute to firmware architecture, documentation, and deliverables from concept through production launch. Participate in product deployment and provide support in resolving customer and field technical issues. Function as a technical expert and project contributor when required. #LI-CH1 A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? Preferred: - Develop firmware requirements, architecture, design, and code for new and existing products. - Design and implement embedded firmware for microcontroller‑based systems. - Develop multi‑threaded RTOS‑based firmware using semaphores, mutexes, watchdog timers, and related mechanisms. - Develop unit and integration test methods to ensure system requirements are met. - Ensure designs meet or exceed requirements of governing agencies (FCC, UL, ANSI, etc.) and support verification testing. - Participate in the development and maintenance of structured firmware and product development processes. - Help establish and follow proper firmware desig...
