Hospital Phlebotomist

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, OR Work Schedule: Rotating Schedule 4 9 hours shifts 36 hours a week Monday - Friday 1:00PM - 10:30PM and every 3rd weekend Job Responsibilities: - Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups - Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. - Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner - Process billing information and collect payments when required - Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis - Maintain patient and specimen information logs - Provide superior customer service to all patients - Administrative and clerical duties as necessary - Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent: Preferred Qualifications: 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience 1 or more years of inpatient phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards: At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
