Job Description This role provides technical expertise and professional support in relation to SEC/PCAOB independence matters to our Audit & Assurance team. Our Audit teams provide value to our clients by delivering specialised quality audit and assurance services. High-quality, independent financial statement audits are essential to maintaining investor confidence. Our audit professionals are committed to the public interest, challenging assumptions, and unlocking valuable insights based on a solid understanding of an organisation’s business and industry. Your Opportunity: - Assist the Ethics & Independence team and the Audit team in managing various SEC/PCAOB Engagement Independence matters as well as APES 110, IESBA, and Corporations Act 2001 Auditor Independence matters. - Desing, manage and execute the Engagement Independence component of a large-scale onboarding of new SEC audit client. - Consult with the Ethics & Independence team, the wider firm and other member firms to share knowledge on specific SEC independence issues, to provide added value and timely responses to the business. - Remain resilient under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks as necessary. - Build effect...
