Job description

Active Ipswich and Ipswich Fit are looking to recruit a Swimming Instructor to their already exciting Swimming Lesson programme (the largest in the local area). This includes those who are looking for self-employed work. You will be responsible for teaching adults and children with varying learning or physical abilities/needs to swim (in accordance with Swim England and Institute for Sport guidance), a vital life skill. You will be required to of obtained either the previous Level 2 Swimming Instructors Qualification, or the newly combined National Swimming Instructors Qualification . Those who are currently undertaking their qualification or have been accepted onto a future course may still apply with the understanding; they cannot take up the full role until completion of the course and qualification documents have been received. We are looking for friendly, positive minded instructor who are comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Applicants need to be confident delivering in front of a variety of people and have a passion about their craft.
