Payment Processor Operations Manager

Job description

Summary: Responsible for the overall direction of the Payment Process Operations team. The PPO manager will be the subject matter expert for the data scope of the Processing Partners relationship with Sutton Bank and support the proper handling of those relationships and data. Responsible for the ownership of the Bank's required raw data file specification for processors and products across the product road map and portfolio. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Experience: Five or more years of experience in payment processing operations, fintech, or a related financial services environment. Relationship management or vendor management is preferred. Prior experience in a senior or people-management role, with a history of mentoring staff and building high-performing teams. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing prepaid products, including Reg E, CFPB guidelines, and AML/BSA compliance. Experience collaborating with third-party processors, issuing banks, and technology partners to drive operational efficiency.
