Are you passionate about working with exotics, birds, cats, dogs, and small mammals? Do you want more variety in your work life? We are currently looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Desert Veterinary Clinic in Yuma, Arizona. Our busy, 3-doctor practice sees a variety of pets providing preventative and urgent care services. Bilingual (Spanish) speakers encouraged to apply! Salary: Starts at $15 per hour, and depends on experience, education, licensure, and certifications. Location: 995 S 5th Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364 Schedule: 4/10-hour shifts; Monday – Saturday, 8 am – 6 pm, closed Sundays and major holidays. Who We Are: Desert Veterinary Clinic is a general practice veterinary clinic in Yuma, AZ, run by Dr. Cheryl Haugo. Some of the veterinary services we offer are vaccine and preventative care and a full range of in-house diagnostics, chronic disease management, routine and emergency surgery, digital and dental radiography, dental cleaning and extractions, dietary recommendations, laser therapy, and end-of-life care.
