Duties include implementing the school counseling curriculum; conducting individual and group sessions; serving as a resource for staff and parents; and making appropriate referrals to community agencies and programs, as needed. The School Counselor must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills that allow for effective communication with all levels of the school community.
