About the Role The Senior Underwriter is a key member of the underwriting team reporting to the Regional Underwriting Manager. The primary goal of this position is to profitably grow a book of business by actively partnering with Agents and working effectively with colleagues throughout the organization. This person will plan and budget for the book of business, develop and maintain agency relationships, and execute underwriting decisions. What You'll Do: No matter the role, delivering exceptional service is the priority in everything we do at PURE. As a Senior Underwriter, this looks like: - Business Management: Reviewing your book of business, tracking performance, and analyzing market conditions and competition. - Broker Partnership: Building and managing broker relationships, developing goals and strategies, and collaborating to craft tailored solutions for members. - Underwriting Execution: Oversee new and renewal underwriting, select risks per company guidelines, and ensure timely follow-up and closing of accounts.
