We are looking for an Optical Fiber Sensors Engineer (FOG Systems) to join our Photonics and Quantum Sensing team. Tasks to be performed: Implementation and assembly of optical fiber sensing subsystems and Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) setups in laboratory environments Build, integrate and test optical fiber sensing subsystems and FOG setups in laboratory environments Work hands-on with specialty optical fibers (fusion splicing, handling and integration) Set up and execute experimental campaigns to evaluate sensor performance (noise, drift, stability) Troubleshoot and optimize opti...
