Rank depends upon qualifications. - Dispatcher I $39,819.98 ($19.14/hr) - Dispatcher II $41,810.98 ($20.10/hour) GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, and dispatch law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other personnel and services accurately and promptly. This position serves as the first point of contact for incidents, gathering and relaying critical information to responders. The role involves multitasking, ensuring unit safety, and providing resources and information for non-emergency calls.
