Acute Rehabilitation Unit: Position Function: The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) functions as an integral part of the patient care team by performing selected patient/resident care treatments and tasks as delegated by licensed nurses and is accountable for his/her own action in performing duties as assigned and for which he/she is trained. Included is recognition and understanding of the physical, cognitive and psychosocial changes unique to the age group served. - 17 bed unit - Utilizes nursing and physical medicine therapies in the trans-disciplinary team approach to family-centered care - Interdisciplinary approach to Performance Improvement, Education, Policy/Procedure and Delivery of Care - Resources and support for advanced training and certification in Rehabilitation Nursing - Full time (72 hours biweekly) - Shift: 5 am- 5:30 pm12 hour day) - Every third weekend - Eligible for shift and weekend differential Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Job Class Specifics: 1.
