Description The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates with an interest in classical or non-malignant hematology for an Open Rank, Open Track faculty position. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications. The UVA Classical Hematology Program is a dedicated team of physicians with expertise in a wide range of benign hematologic conditions, including disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, anemias, platelet disorders, bone marrow failure syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other rare hematologic diseases. While the position is primarily centered on non-malignant hematology, there is flexibility to include a component of malignant hematology tailored to the candidate’s clinical interests and experience. The successful candidate will be a key clinical member of our team, providing care to adult patients in both the outpatient and inpatient consult setting.
