Overview ABOUT THE POSITION: VHB is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Senior Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Traffic Engineer to join our expanding Transportation Systems Group in the Southeast region with hybrid opportunities in Orlando FL. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to the planning, documentation, design, and construction support of advanced ITS infrastructure and traffic design. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the development of ITS/ATMS and traffic signal design plans - Perform traffic engineering and task management to deliver a wide variety of traffic engineering and ITS/ATMS projects - Prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates - Develop electrical one-line diagrams and conduct electrical system calculations, including voltage drop, arc flash, and short circuit analyses - Prepare Power Design Analysis Reports for ITS infrastructure - Create communication diagrams and fiber/copper splicing plans Develop key systems engineering documentation, including:...
