City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview: Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time, day shifts in the Anatomic Pathology Lab at Sentara RMH Medical Center. (0700-1530) As a laboratory support technician (LST) duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures Education: Bachelors degree (required): Histology Lab candidates with a Bachelor of Science in general studies with 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry will qualify Certification/Licensure: No certification or licensure required: Sentara is focused on living its mission — to improve health every day.
