Ca sual academic s will typically be engaged in a range of duties, including (but not limited to) tutoring; marking; teaching and moderating/ facilitatin g . Casual academic s are remunerated according to the category of their duties, as detailed in UQ’s Enterprise Agreement. Although you will be asked to state why you have picked a course your response is optional. NB: Tutoring opportunities are reliant on course enrolment numbers and some courses at postgraduate level may not attract sufficient enrolments to require a tutor.
