Job description

The General Foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies in order to complete all jobs efficiently, correctly, and profitably. Preferred candidates will have experience as a General Foreperson and experience working in line clearance. This is a full-time position that offers health insurance benefits for medical, vision, and dental, as well as the option for enrollment in a 401K. The pay range is $31-$33 an hour. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules - Keep utility company representatives informed of crew members and equipment - Establish and monitor systems to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment and facilities - Prompt dispatch of crews to job sites - Teach all safety regulations to crew members and ensure 100% compliance on the safety regulations - Instruct employees how to operate all equipment and use materials safely - Ensure first aid equipment is readily available to crews at all times - Assist in filling out accident reports promptly and completely when needed and investigate cause(s) of accidents -...
