About the service: The Medicare Mental Health Services are free and you do not need an appointment, referral or Medicare card to visit a Medicare Mental Health Centre. The new services in Devonport, Burnie and Outer Hobart are co-funded by the Australian and Tasmanian Governments, to provide a streamlined approach to support better mental health and social wellbeing across the country. The service is tailored to the needs of the community in Tasmania and provides a combination of peer-integrated recovery and clinical support.
