Responsibilities: The role and responsibilities of a Failure Analysis and New Product Qualification engineer include the following: - Support failure mode analysis (FMA) of laser diode module failures associated with solder creep, delamination/voids, and device performance degradation - Identify root cause for failures using analytical tools such as optical inspection, SEM, EDX, and X-ray - Performs analysis utilizing DOE and FMEA tools (e.g. Fishbone diagram for cause and effect analysis) - Coordinate laser diode module qualification tests with internal and external reliability labs - Generates failure analysis reports and engineering/qualification reports for new processes/products Requirements: Pay Range: $27.75 - 54.30/hour USD - Applicants should be engineering major (materials or optical / electrical engineering preferred) pursuing a Master degree or above, with proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)...
