Unit Assistant - 9 W Secure Unit 26001821 Description Department: 9 W Secure Unit: Daily Work Times: 7a-7p Shift : Days Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72 Benefits: - 403(b) - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance Position Summary: Under the supervision of a registered nurse, responsible for providing support to nursing staff and assisting in the delivery of patient/resident care following patient care plan and hospital policies and procedures. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Provides routine patient/resident care services such as call light response; ambulating, transferring, and positioning; personal hygiene assistance, prescribed bowel and bladder program assistance, etc. 2. Collects, records, and reports various patient/resident data. Reports changes in patient/resident condition. 3. Provides general clerical support to unit such as answering the phone, data entry, and assembling, maintaining, and distributing various information.
