Technical Leadership & Architecture Define and own the development strategy and technical roadmap for entrusted projects, in alignment with producers and studio leadership Establish guidance and architecture across different technical disciplines on large-scale game development projects Identify the most appropriate solutions for complex technical challenges and validate them with the wider team If necessary, directly participate in development, particularly for critical or high-risk features Research and advocate for cutting-edge technologies applicable within the games industry Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical liaison between the studio and clients — addressing inquiries, clarifying expectations, and ensuring technical deliverables meet agreed standards Contribute to new project proposals: establish development strategies and staffing plans for project bids Communicate technical progress, risks, and mitigation plans clearly to production, clients and upper management Review technical documentation including system designs, specifications, and project reports Team Oversight & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technical team including so...
