Company: Mercer Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our H&B Consulting team at Mercer as a Health & Benefits Associate . This role will be based in Calgary. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. You will participate in delivering impactful solutions for organizations of varied industries and size, and have the opportunity to impact on the health and wellbeing of their employees. You will work in a collaborative environment on client teams with other Health colleagues and support clients in the financial and strategic management of their employee benefit programs through analysis and communication. We will count on you to: - Provide accurate and timely data and financial analysis on various projects for medical, dental, life and disability programs. - Validate and compare premiums for group benefit plans under vendor renewals, quotes or benchmarking exercises with other companies in the industry. - Produce quarterly experience monitoring reports for clients and analyze the impact of any recent changes. - Analyze financial statements of group insurance plans and review the financial agreement to suit th...
