Description Johns Hopkins University has made a major new investment in Data Science and AI. The investment will add 150 new faculty positions, including 30 Bloomberg Distinguished Professorships. The University has established a new Data Science and AI Institute (DSAI Institute). A new half-million square foot building and an unparalleled computational infrastructure is being constructed. This expansion will establish Johns Hopkins as one of the largest and leading engineering schools with a top AI research program. The expansion will double the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics from 20 full-time regular faculty in 2023 to 40 by 2028. This search is to fill faculty positions in the DSAI Institute. We invite applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions in all areas of the Mathematical Sciences.
