Full-time faculty role working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health

Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a licensed mental health provider with specialty postdoctoral training in child and adolescent mental health. This faculty position is based in the Department of Psychiatry’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division and will have both clinical and educational responsibilities. Opportunities for scholarship related to clinical and educational efforts are encouraged, as well as within the faculty member’s area of expertise as extramural funding permits. This new position focuses on: (1) provision of evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents and families in pediatric primary care and specialty care with collaboration and consultation to their interdisciplinary care teams; and (2) interdisciplinary education and training. This opportunity is focused on improving the health of the children in our community through integrating behavioral health into primary care clinics and pediatric specialty care clinics and through expanding capacity of traditional behavioral health clinics to meet the needs of these families.
