This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on education, years of experience and depth of expertise. The engineer - renewables provides technical work in the planning, designing, procurement and construction of additions, changes or maintenance to MidAmerican Energy Company's renewable units. The engineer - renewables may participate in the direction of work for wind engineer, contractors and field personnel. The senior engineer - renewables may also provide oversight and direction for engineer 1 & 2 - renewables. Provide engineering services for the planning, design and construction of project additions or maintenance to MidAmerican Energy Company's renewable units. Services include development and implementation of OEM specific reliability analysis, forecasting metrics, performance reports and accuracy validation. (55%) Provide technical project management for certain phases of a project including scheduling, design, estimates, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, cost tracking and project cost projections.
