POSITION SUMMARY: The ideal candidate should have steady work history that shows commitment, quality, and reliability to their work. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring a high level of quality is maintained throughout the process. You must have the ability to work to a high standard of safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal. Utilize the NCR process and 8D approach to building quality into the processes including but not limited to: Internally Audit daily work activities within the organization to identify non-conformances in process that require sustained correction. Expeditiously Initiate, Manage-by-Priority, and Close out NCR’s. Escalate repeated non-conformances or advanced level problems to QA Engineers. Ensures a quality product is passed through all stations. Identifies opportunities to build quality into the products and processes.
