Job Description : HOLT CAT in Irving, Texas; is looking for a experienced Engine Field Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing high-quality rebuilds and repairs on Industrial Engines and equipment in a field environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM. Must have a safe driving record. Must be able to do a DOT Physical. Daily travel and occasional overnight travel is required. Qualifications: A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities: - Must be able to troubleshoot and repair Industrial Engines (Diesel and Natural Gas) in a field environment. - Must have a minimum of 5 years of shop or field experience related to industrial engine repair, troubleshoot and diagnose. - Must be able to use CAT ET and CAT SIS 2.0 - Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems using reasonable, and efficient practices - Must have steady employment history - Diesel technology schooling preferred - Excellent customer service skills.
