Description Markon is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. Responsibilities: - Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight of operations and maintenance, repair, and construction work - Oversee and coordinate activities with the trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment - Oversee and coordinate work orders, service orders, and project - Develop cost estimates, documents, and reports - Coordinate energy program and analyzing utility costs - Provide after hours engineering services in the event of an emergency - Manage project design and/or construction efforts, to include schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight - Manage and evaluate construction contractor performance - Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel - Evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests - Provide official weekly project status reports - Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders - Assist the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representati...
