The physical therapist is responsible for overseeing the provision of physical therapy services and providing direct service to patients and residents and supervising the physical therapy assistant. Per Diem: Pay Rate - $50.00/hour: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Attend one or more professional presentations/conferences per year. - Reports to Director of Rehabilitation - Render physical therapy treatments only with a physician’s referral. - Provide/supervise treatment, revising as needed. - Recommend and assist in providing residents with functional equipment (wheelchairs, ambulatory, aids, etc.) - Work closely with physician, other professionals and consultants to integrate physical therapy into the multi-disciplinary team care plan. - Participate in patient/resident and family education and meetings, in...
