Overview At the direction of the Associate Nurse Director, and in collaboration with the New London Medical Group Practice Manager, provides guidance and leadership for the clinical practice of the nursing staff in the ambulatory settings to include, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Specialty Services at New London Hospital (NLH). Accountable for the quality of nursing care service, in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and the NH Board of Nursing rules for delegated nursing tasks. Collaborates with the Associate Nurse Director, Ambulatory Educator, and LPN/MA Supervisor to assure professional development and ongoing competence of the nursing staff. Collaborates with the Ambulatory Nursing Director, and Ambulatory Educator to assure that system nursing practice goals and expectations are met. Responsibilities: Clinical Operations: - Directly responsible for operational and performance management of the RNs in Family Medicine, Pediatrics and select Specialty Areas.
