Description POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of pre-operational procedures by establishing and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout all Truvant’s facilities. This is accomplished by following sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and work instructions. While working in production, personnel are responsible for inspection, packaging and palletizing products to Truvant and customer specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Daily cleaning and sanitizing of production rooms, pack-off areas, and packaging equipment - Cleaning and sanitizing of any other areas assigned by the sanitation supervisor. - Disassembling and assembling of equipment and production lines. - Operate a floor buffer and scrubber. - Fill out required sanitation pre-operational reports. - Complete all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and products - Understand palletization of each product - Identify defects in packages/pouches - Operate a pallet jack - Other duties as assigned Requirements: EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: - No previous experience required - On the job training provided SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: - Knowledge gained through on the job...
