Position summary: The Sonography Assistant Professor/Clinical Coordinator will provide expertise in the diagnostic medical sonography curriculum and clinical instruction. The instructor will handle the preparation, presentation, and evaluation of sonographic techniques, patient care, and safety standards. The role requires a thorough understanding of sonographic procedures, the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment, and the ability to anticipate clinical needs for effective patient care. Individuals should be self-directed, compassionate, patient-focused, and exhibit excellent communication skills. Instructional staff must be responsible for providing didactic and clinical content, evaluating student progress, and regularly reviewing and updating course material.
