Description GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology consult service. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity role focused on managing a broad spectrum of GI conditions while working closely with a collaborative team of gastroenterologists. This position offers a strong balance of clinical autonomy, procedural coordination, and productivity-based performance, making it ideal for candidates who thrive in both a hospital and outpatient clinic environment. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Gastroenterology Physicians SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None Manage: The jobholder must demonstrate competencies applicable to job position. - Provides high quality clinical care to patients in hospital and/or office setting according to protocol. - Perform GI consults and daily follow-ups - Coordinate EGD, colonoscopy, and advanced endoscopy cases - Pre-procedure risk assessment - Anticoagulation and bowel prep - Post-procedure care - Completes all Medical Record documentation in a timely and complete manner.
