Job Description Summary The Department of Neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for a tenure-track position in the general research area of Neurodevelopment. This search is part of a multi-year strategic plan to expand neurodevelopment research at MUSC. Topics of interest include mechanisms of nervous system development, therapeutic strategies for neurodevelopmental disorders, and principles of brain circuit development and plasticity. We encourage individuals who utilize human and non-human models and/or computational approaches to apply. Applicants should have a PhD and/orMD with appropriate research expertise and are expected to possess an outstanding record of high-quality publications and a strong potential to secure extramural research funding. Successful candidates will benefit from a competitive start-up package in a highly ranked neuroscience department with a strong commitment to faculty mentoring and collegiality.
