Join Our Deaconess Team! We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Emergency Room team at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center. As part of our dedicated care team, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered care while working in a collaborative and supportive environment where your skills truly matter. Job Overview: An ER Nurse provides critical care to patients in emergency situations. They assess and prioritize patient needs, administer treatments, perform life-saving procedures, and coordinate with other medical professionals. They also document patient information, manage crises, and provide emotional support to patients and families. Quick decision-making and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential. Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing Experience: At least one year previous experience in clinical unit preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required. Requires physical stamina and emotional stability.
