Job Overview The Painter prepare surfaces, paints, sands, acid wash, and touches up all products. A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Applying masking tape and or caps to protect parts and components that are not to be coated. - Applying wet coat surfaces of manufactured products with epoxy and urethane coatings. - Adjusting valves on spray gun to regulate width and pressure of spray. - Pulling trigger and directing spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat. - Properly cleaning and maintaining all spray equipment including booth maintenance. - Making suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work. - Following instructions, both written and verbal, from the lead person and production supervisors. - Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. - Inspecting own work for conformity to standards. - Ability to utilize basic arithmetic skills - Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and complete tasks in a timely manner. - Knowledge of proper usage of safety equipment. - Ability to use hand tools (gages, guns, and pumps) required (required) - Ability to stand for long periods of time (required) Hubbell Incorpor...
