Minimum Hiring Wage: From $18.89 per hour Job Details: Scheduled Hours: 8:00pm - 6:30am, Weekend and Holiday Rotation. Job Description: A Brief Overview Responsible for the collection and processing of laboratory specimens, registering patients, ordering laboratory tests, sorting and distributing laboratory reports, answering phones, specimen labeling, may transcribe recorded messages and practitioner diagnosis and recommendations into patient medical records, may prepare consult send out cases, transporting samples between collection sites and the laboratory, may perform lab testing and specimen setup, may perform phlebotomy, must demonstrate absolute accuracy in patient identification, specimen labeling and have knowledge of test requirements as well as other duties related to department specific needs. Requires the ability to professionally portray the Laboratory's image by demonstrating pleasant and courteous mannerisms at all times.
