Equities Product Control Risk & Projects - Vice President

Job description

We're seeking someone to join our Equities Product Control function, in the Risk and Projects team focusing on evolving out operating model through a focus on reducing operational risk across the division. They will drive key initiatives such as Risk & control Self Assessment (RCSA), the capture of operational risk incidents (ORIs), and the development and production of divisional reporting, metrics, and risk monitoring processes, and ultimately working with divisional management to optimize the operating model. This role will work directly with product-aligned controllers covering Cash Equities, Listed and OTC Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, Equity Swaps, and other products, liaising with senior management and the central risk teams. The ideal candidate has a background in product control or risk, with a focus on equity products. Having a background in project execution would be beneficial, as this role will be responsible for helping to execute on a variety of risk-related projects aimed at enhancing the Firm’s control environment.
