Travel Specialist The Opportunity: You'll serve as a travel spe cia list, helping clients book travel, processing vouchers and travel expenses, and ensuring compliance with federal travel regulations. You will be responsible for utilizing travel management systems, educating clients on travel processes, identifying travel violations and discrepancies, and ensuring client vouchers and expenses are processed in a timely manner. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving skills will enable the mission's success. What You’ll Work On: Provide guidance and educate stakeholders on federal travel policies , procedures, regulations, and compliance. Interpret the latest Federal Travel Regulations ( FTR ) and HHS travel policies . Assist stakeholders with booking travel and travel arrangements. Utilize agency’s travel management systems and aid stakeholders on how to navigate the system. Assist with the completion and processing of vouchers and ensure all required information and documentation are included.
