About the role: We are looking for a Field Technician who will provide field support to the Mungari Resource Development, Open Pit and Underground Geology teams, located 25km from central Kalgoorlie. This varied role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled field technician, core yard technician, pit technician or someone entering the mining industry who can quickly learn the technical skills but already has the personal abilities to deliver the below responsibilities. This position will only be offered to those who reside locally to Kalgoorlie or are willing to permanently relocate. Relocation support can be provided. The roster is a continuous 9:5 (10-hour dayshift only) roster. - Collect geological samples from suitable sites, in either the field or open pit environment as directed, mark samples, note locations and dispatch to laboratory as appropriate - Prepare site appropriately, including field set up, gridding, clearing, supervision of sump digging, track clearing, drill pad setup and building of causeways - Collect drilling samples as directed, split as required and dispatch to laboratory - Complete marking up of core, geotechnical logging, and specific gravity determinat...
