Job description

The Systems Manager Network & Security Infrastructure is responsible for the operational management, reliability, and security of Con Edisons enterprise network and firewall infrastructure. The position ensures continuous availability, resiliency, and protection of IT and OT network services that support field operations, control centers, customer systems, and corporate applications. This role is accountable for daily operational performance, incident response, risk management, and delivery of infrastructure initiatives aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The Systems Manager operates with limited supervision and is accountable for both RUN operations and BUILD initiatives. The role provides technical leadership, operational oversight, and coordination across Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, vendors, and business stakeholders. The position may act as Incident Commander for high impact infrastructure or security incidents. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
