Applying for a part-time adjunct teaching appointment allows faculty chairs from across the College to access candidate materials if/when a teaching need arises throughout the current or future academic year. Quality instruction includes clear course objectives, prepared and relevant class activities, effective and understandable presentations of learning materials, fair and understandable grading practices, timely responses to students, and a positive atmosphere in the classroom. Instruction may take place in traditional or online courses. - Evaluate student learning, skills, and abilities.
