Job Summary Community Health Systems is hiring a Foreign Systems Interface Specialist to join our EHR Team. As the Foreign Systems Interface Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical planning and oversight of interface installation. The Foreign Systems Interface Specialist will be installing/configuring Cerner interfaces to connect with disparate systems and code custom interfaces as well. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex interface issues, which would require a good understanding of networking, database querying, and programming concepts. You are also expected to support interface validation/testing/deployment/documentation during the life cycle of the project. This highly technical and hands-on position requires the incumbent to work in a team and individual work setting contributing to all aspects of system integration including design, needs analysis, design review, testing, implementation, and validation.
