Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to clean and prepare construction job sites for the erection of structures and buildings. The incumbent should have the ability and flexibility to work different shifts and long hours (8-12 hours). Weekend work and extra hours occur according to production needs and at the discretion of the Crew Supervisor. The incumbent must support the guiding beliefs and core values of Orion which are centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork, most importantly with each built upon the all-important foundation of Integrity. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: - Stacks lumber or wood products, reinforced steel, tools, miscellaneous materials, sacks, containers, and other products on floors, decks, trailers, or in bins to supply the job site. - Dismantles wood forms, removes concrete rubble, spreads dirt, sand, and other materials by handheld tools, and removes nails and hardware to salvage material. - Removes paint, lacquer, and other finishes from wood or concrete products and sands rough spots to prepare surfaces for finishing. - Inspects, organizes, and cleans materials and tools such as extension cords, electrical tool cords, and other...
