Mechanic Electronics- 2nd Shift ( Job Number: 339575 ) Description Job Description: · Performs a wide variety of duties necessary to assure the proper functioning of aircraft electrical, electronic, communication, navigation, flight instruments and instrumentation systems or packages. · Fabricates, constructs, installs, tests, adjusts, maintains, repairs or replaces any components, panels or sections of the above systems or packages. · Lays out and installs a variety of tubing and /or tubing systems for instrumentation work. · May be assigned to install, adjust, and maintain control tower or other fixed base or mobile communications equipment. · Makes “in flight tests” as necessary. · Must obtain any additional licenses or permits required by the government to meet government regulations. Tools & Equipment Used: · Radio repair and electrician’s hand tools, flaring tools, tube cutters and tubing installation tools. · Various types of power tools and hand tools necessary to perform required work.
