Job Title Program Aide - EFNEP Agency: Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service Department: Enp - Youth - Bexar Proposed Minimum Salary: $13.00 hourly Job Location: San Antonio, Texas Job Type: Temporary/Casual Staff (Fixed Term) Job Description: Job Description Summary: This position works in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program known as EFNEP. The EFNEP Program Aide , with training and supervision, teaches (in-person and/ or virtually) about nutrition, food resource management, food safety, and physical activity in culturally sensitive and appropriate ways for adults and /or youth, for low-income audiences in various community locations. This position is funded by a Federal grant and is therefore contingent upon the availability of funds. Note to Candidates: This position is budgeted for 10 weeks from the date of hire . An extension to the length of employment could be considered depending on the number of hours worked during the previous 10-week period and overall job performance during that timeframe .
